Der eingetragene
Verein HomeLink Deutschland anerkennt die Bedeutung der
vertraulichen Behandlung der persönlichen Informationen seiner
Mitglieder. HomeLink Deutschland ist Mitglied von HomeLink
International Associates (HLIA), einer in Brüssel registrierten
Non Profit Organisation.
HomeLink
Deutschland sammelt persönliche Informationen von Mitgliedern, die
ihre Wohnungen und Häuser mit anderen Mitgliedern von HLIA
tauschen. Diese Informationen werden in einem Tauschbuch zusammen
mit einer kurzen Beschreibung des Heimes veröffentlicht, das zum
Tausch angeboten wird. Mit ihrer Mitgliedschaft bei HomeLink
Deutschland stimmen die Mitglieder der Veröffentlichung ihrer
persönlichen Informationen in gedruckten und elektronischen
Versionen (=Datenbank) des Tauschbuches zu.
HomeLink
Deutschland gibt Ihre persönlichen Informationen nur weiter an:
HLIA und HLIA-Teilnehmer und -mitglieder in anderen Ländern. Ihre
persönlichen Informationen können auch zur Ansicht durch Besucher
in einem "Besucher" - Bereich der Datenbank vorhanden sein; Ihr
Name und sämtliche Kontaktinformationen sind jedoch in diesem
Bereich nicht sichtbar.
Sie stimmen
auch dem Erhalt von Informationen durch HomeLink Deutschland zu,
ebenso bei oder nach Ablauf Ihrer Mitgliedschaft. Wenn Sie dies
nicht mehr wünschen, genügt eine Emailmitteilung an info@homelink.de
ebenso, wenn Sie eine Entfernung Ihrer Daten aus der Datenbank
wünschen. Zeigt der "Bevorzugte
Zeitraum, Dates" in Ihrem Inserat einen Zeitraum,
der nach dem Ablauf des Inserates liegt, kann das Inserat von
HomeLink storniert werden.
Keine
Datenübertragung über das Internet ist völlig sicher.
Dementsprechend gewährleistet HomeLink Deutschland nicht die
Sicherheit für zugesandte Informationen, diese werden auf Ihre
eigene Gefahr übertragen. HomeLink Deutschland wird jedoch alle
angemessenen Schritte unternehmen, um Ihre persönlichen
Informationen vor Fehlanwendung oder nicht autorisiertem Zugang zu
schützen. Eine diesbezügliche Haftung ist jedoch ausgeschlossen.
HomeLink
Deutschland gibt Ihnen auf Antrag alle persönlichen Informationen
bekannt, die HomeLink Deutschland elektronisch gespeichert hat.
HomeLink
Deutschland behält sich das Recht vor, Ihren Zugang zu oder den
Gebrauch der Website bzw. Datenbank zu beenden, wenn Sie den
angeführten Verpflichtungen zuwider handeln. HomeLink Deutschland
behält sich das Recht vor, eine Mitgliedschaft jederzeit zu
beenden. Eine Begründung
dafür muß von HomeLink
Deutschland nicht gegeben werden. Der anteilige Jahresbeitrag wird
von HomeLink Deutschland auf Antrag des Mitgliedes erstattet.

PRIVACY POLICY
Introduction
This
privacy policy applies to all business activities of HomeLink
International Deutschland.
HomeLink
Ferien-Wohnungstausch e.V.(referred to as "HomeLink
Deutschland") is a licensed affiliate of HomeLink International
Associates (referred to as "HLIA"), an association registered in
Brussels, Belgium.
HomeLink Deutschland recognizes the importance to its members of
the discreet and confidential handling of their personal
information. It is HomeLink Deutschland's policy to comply with
the requirements of any applicable privacy legislation in all its
activities involving the collection, use, disclosure and handling
of personal information.
Your
access to and use of the website located at www.homelink.de (the
"Site") and/or the printed directory referred to directly below,
is conditional upon your acceptance of HomeLink Deutschland's
privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") and any other terms and
conditions contained on the Site (collectively referred to as the
"Agreement"). Your use of the Site and/or the printed directory
constitutes your acceptance of the Agreement and any variations to
it.
Collection of Personal Information
HomeLink Deutschland collects personal information from members
who register with HomeLink Deutschland to exchange their homes
with other members of HomeLink International Association ("HLIA").
This information is then published in a directory ("Directory")
along with a brief description of the home offered for exchange
which is written/approved by the member. In registering with
HomeLink Deutschland members acknowledge that their personal
information will be published in both printed and electronic
versions of the Directory.
HomeLink Deutschland also collects personal information of members
requesting a directory from it for the purpose of finding home
exchange listings and in order for HomeLink Deutschland to be able
to respond to a request for information or feedback given by
members or visitors to the Site.
If
you choose not to provide HomeLink Deutschland with your personal
information, it may be unable to provide you with its services or
respond to a request for information or feedback given by you.
Examples of personal information HomeLink Deutschland collects
include but are not limited to: name, address, email address,
phone and fax numbers and credit card details.
HomeLink Deutschland only collects personal information by lawful
and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way.
HomeLink Deutschland only collects personal information directly
from an individual and makes known the purpose for which personal
information is being collected at the time it is being collected.
Personal information may also be collected by cookies when you use
the Site. Cookies are pieces of data stored by your web browser on
your hard drive which contain information relating to your use of
the Site. When you access the Site, cookies may record details
relating to your use of the Site, including what pages you view
from the Site. HomeLink Deutschland does not use cookies to track
your personal information and uses them for internal management
purposes only.
Particular areas of our web site employ the use of temporary
cookies. For example, HLIA uses temporary cookies to maintain a
user's state - such as logged in or not logged in. The concept is
similar to visiting a theme park and receiving a hand stamp which
allows entrance and exit throughout the day. Temporary cookies do
not actually write anything to your hard drive.
Use and Disclosure
As a
general rule, HomeLink Deutschland will not use personal
information for a purpose other than the primary purpose for which
it is collected unless HomeLink Deutschland has obtained your
consent to such use.
HomeLink Deutschland will not disclose your personal information
to any third parties except to the following:

HLIA
· HLIA Affiliates and members, including in other countries;
for
the purpose of facilitating home exchanges between members of HLIA
and you consent to such disclosure.
Your
personal information may also be available for public viewing by
visitors in a "visitors" area of the Site. However, your contact
details will not be on public display and are only available for
viewing by other members in a secure "members only" area of the
Site.
You
consent and agree to use and disclosure of your personal
information generally in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You
also consent to HomeLink Deutschland using your personal
information for the purposes of:
(a)
providing you with its services;
(b)
responding to a request for information and/or feedback by you;
and
(c)
marketing and promoting its services and providing you with any
information HomeLink Deutschland considers may be of interest to
you;
at
any time, including changes to its services and the Site.
If
you do not wish to receive future marketing or promotional
material from HomeLink Deutschland, you may contact it at any time
by sending an email to the following email address
requesting that no further material be sent to you. HomeLink
Deutschland will as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving
your request, remove your contact details from its database.
Data
Quality
Once your personal information is collected, HomeLink Deutschland
then uploads that information to a central HLIA database which is
maintained by HLIA.
HomeLink Deutschland will take all reasonable steps to ensure that
personal information that it holds about a member is accurate,
complete and up-to-date. Where a member registers with HomeLink
Deutschland,
it will provide a proof copy of their advertisement,
upon request, at any time during the registration period and/or
where a change is made. Changes are made only at the request of
the member. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that the
proof sent to them is accurate and in keeping with that
information which they are satisfied will be disclosed to other
HLIA affiliates and members.
Data Security
You
acknowledge that no data transmission over the Internet is totally
secure. Accordingly, HomeLink Deutschland does not warrant the
security of any information which you transmit to it. Any
information which you transmit to HomeLink Deutschland is
transmitted at your own risk. However, once HomeLink Deutschland
receives your transmission, HomeLink Deutschland will take all
reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse,
loss or unauthorised access which may include but is not limited
to any one or more of the following measures: secure network
links, firewalls, password protection and virus protection.
Openness
On
request by you, HomeLink Deutschland will make known to you the
types of personal information it holds about you, the purpose for
which it is held and how it collects, holds and uses that
information.
Access
On
request by you, HomeLink Deutschland will provide you with access
to your personal information except where access may be denied
under applicable privacy legislation.
To request access to your personal information, please contact
HomeLink Deutschland' s privacy officer ("Privacy Officer") whose
contact details are set out at the end of this Privacy Policy. The
Privacy Officer or a delegate will endeavour to respond to your
request for access to your personal information within 14 days of
the date of receipt of such request.
If
your request for access is denied, HomeLink Deutschland will
provide you with reasons for its decision.
Correction of your personal information
If you believe that the personal information HomeLink Deutschland
holds about you is inaccurate, incomplete or not current, please
let it know and it will correct it.
Changes to Privacy Policy
HomeLink Deutschland reserves the right to change the Privacy
Policy from time to time by posting such changes on the Site.
Changes will be effected immediately upon notification on the
Site. Your continued use of the Site following notification will
constitute your acceptance of those changes.
